Stubborn Dog Suddenly Becomes Extremely Cooperative After Noticing Snake

A video shared on social media shows a dog getting startled after noticing a snake. As it shows, some dogs can be very stubborn, so much so that they won’t listen to their owners even when their life is on the line. The dog’s owner tries to warn her that there is a snake nearby, and the dog simply keeps lying on the grass outside, enjoying her safe spot. But once she notices the snake, she becomes startled and immediately leaves the spot, cooperating with her dad.

The video was shared by @stickroth_golf and quickly went viral, receiving over 260K likes and more than 1,300 comments.

The clip begins with a dog lying on the grass outside in the yard. It seems like she is taking a nap or simply enjoying her me-time in her cozy spot. She is so at peace that she is completely unbothered by her surroundings. However, there is a danger lurking nearby—a snake. The moment her dad spots it, he starts saying, “Bella Mia, you’ve got a snake behind you.”

However, the dog doesn’t budge. Her back is facing the snake, and it seems like she is totally unaware that there is another creature nearby. As she remains in place, the dad’s instructions grow stronger and louder.

Since the dog doesn’t get up despite being told multiple times, he goes over and gives her a gentle nudge. Still, the dog is in no mood to get up. She takes her own time, but when she finally sees the snake, she gets shocked and immediately runs away, finally listening to her dad.

The paw parent jokingly said in the caption that the dog doesn’t listen to him even in the most serious situations. He added that he was relieved when he saw that it was a King Snake, as they are non-venomous.
